Christian is known for his work as a cinematographer and composer for the documentary Blood, Boobs & Beast, which screened at 22 film festivals domestically and internationally and won 6 best documentary awards. Christian filmed the interviews of underground cartoonists Jay Lynch and Skip Williamson, as well as B-movie icon George Stover. Christian got his start in filmmaking in 2002 working as a cinematographer and assistant director on the award-winning documentary feature Non-Player-Character. A few years later, he scored the documentary short Futonmaker.

In 2009, he moved to Austin, TX where he added editing and photography to his skill set when he began regularly filming and photographing promotional materials for models and dancers. During 2012, he shot and edited a promotional trailer for the Working Class Radio Project Podcast, he shot and edited a workout video titled Fitness Hoop Dance (which was distributed on DVD), and he scored the short web documentary The Archives of Jay Lynch. In 2013 he was hired to film the 'COVERGIRL #Nailgate' manicure station premiere amongst Baltimore, MD NFL Raven's tailgaters and fans heading into the game. The footage was used as part of Covergirl's promotional video collaboration with NFL and their product line. In 2014, he helped film pioneering underground comix artists, Carol Tyler and Justin Green, for an upcoming documentary film. He also worked with non profit activist group ATX Safer Streets, and shot and edited a video that was presented to the Austin, Texas City Council to advocate a better transit structure to reducing drunk driving. The following year, he partnered with the creators of the art installation called The Cube Experience, and shot and edited 3 separate videos covering their premiere at Art Basel in Miami, Florida.

Christian recently completed work on co-directing and writing the score to the documentary Pigheaded, about underground comix pioneer Skip Williamson.
